plastic free packaging (reduce, reuse,recycle)

you will not see any plastic coming with your purchase. my artwork is sent using plastic free and recycled material from orders i receive or that i purchase from a uk supplier. while artwork is delicate to ship and i need to protect it as much as possible, i will also avoid any unnecessary packaging. i use cardboard, paper bubble wrap, biodegradable void filler and paper tap to pack them.

giving back

protecting our planet and our oceans is very close to my heart. i simply love our home. while my activism is changing form, i still care deeply and am grateful for all the people on the front line of conservation trying to project our home and all its inhabitant. i am also very happy to share that love with you through my art and want to use it to give back. a percentage of the profit of each original collection will be donated to a charity of choice (ocean conservation).

recycled paper for prints and postcard

I am very excited to work with the imaging centre which is FSC® Certified to get all my prints and postcards done. working with them, i get to choose recycled paper (from coffee cups) for everything (prints, postcard and envelope). I will wrap them using recycled boxes and packaging (plastic free) that i have at home. they will come plastic free with paper wrap or sometimes compostable cellos.

painting material

this is probably the most unethical part of the business which i am looking at improving. i am trying to learn more about the paint and other products that i use (primer, moulding paste, varnish) so that i can find the best solutions (more environmentally friendly, produce less waste). i now build my own canvases to avoid plastic packaging and i am very happy that my art supplier (jacksonart) is now sending all orders without plastic.
