a spark of light in the dark - 2021
inspired by an exploration within my own mind, this collection is the most personal body of work i have ever created. each painting is like a journal entry written on a travel and this one is an emotional one. they tell a story. of a voice that was whispering to me, inviting me to explore memories, grief and a pain which was hidden in the dark for far too long. like the voice of the north sea, always inviting you to wander and swim in its abysses, to lose yourself in a complete silence, yours. to find yourself in the darkness where the light awaits you and reach an ethereal deliverance.
